Sceneries Dialog
The sceneries dialog allows you to see a list of available ADD-ON FS sceneries and to add new ones.
The name of the currently setup scenery.cfg file is displayed at the top.
A list of recognised ADD-ON FS sceneries that are defined in the scenery.cfg
file is displayed underneath.
You can use the scroll bar to move through the list.
After unzipping a new ADD-ON scenery into its correct place (see sceneries) you can use this dialog to
add the new scenery to the scenery.cfg file. Perform the following steps ...
Use the Browse button to locate any file which is part of the scenery
Press the Add button to add this scenery
A message is displayed under the input field:
- Added area: LAYER 'NAME' - added successfully
- Already in list: 'LAYER NAME' - the scenery was already in the list
- Not added: LAYER 'NAME' - unrecognised name
Auto automatically adds all new folders to the scenery.cfg file.
This searches folders recursively from the scenedb, scenery and addon scenery folders of the main FS folder.
It may take a few minutes depending on how many folders there are.
Cache TITLE generates caches for the scenery displayed on the first line
Active allows you to enable or disable scenery displayed on the first line
Title displays the scenery title or folder path
ReloadCfg reinterprets the scenery.cfg file
Cache DEL deletes all caches
Cache All generates caches for all sceneries
You can add a number of sceneries and then ...
Press the OK button to close the dialog
Press the Cancel button to close the dialog
Press the Apply button does nothing yet
When you add new sceneries and close this dialog the scenery.cfg file will
be reinterpreted and tiles will be reloaded.
